Darwen Aldridge Community Academy (DACA) is a secondary school and sixth form with academy status in the Blackburn with Darwen borough of Lancashire, England. It specialises in entrepreneurship and is part of the Aldridge Education Trust.
Darwen Aldridge Community Academy benefits from state-of-the-art facilities including a large sports hall, a FA accredited full-size floodlit 3G pitch, and theatre as well as other sporting and non-sporting facilities. The facilities allow us to provide students with a full range of sporting activities within extra-curricular activities and within the curriculum.
Additionally, the outstanding school facilities are used extensively by the school and local community. We have a diverse portfolio of clubs and activities running every evening and during the weekend.
Facilities include; FA accredited 3G football pitch, atriums, canteen, classrooms, double classrooms, conference room, dance studios, learning resource centre, meeting room, MUGA, sports hall and theatre.
Our lettings are open 7 days a week with closures only during bank holidays and extended opening hours during school holidays. There is ample parking available onsite and our friendly staff are always available to help.
