Bideford College is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in Bideford in the English county of Devon. It is the only state-funded secondary school in Bideford. In 2003, the college was awarded specialist science status as part of the specialist schools programme.
Previously a foundation school administered by Devon County Council, the school converted to academy status in March 2016. The school is now part of the Launceston College Multi Academy Trust.
Bideford College benefits from state-of-the-art facilities including a large sports hall, a large floodlit 3G pitch, and theatre as well as other sporting and non-sporting facilities. The facilities allow us to provide students with a full range of sporting activities within extra-curricular activities and within the curriculum.
Additionally, the outstanding school facilities are used extensively by the school and local community. We have a diverse portfolio of clubs and activities running every evening and during the weekend.
Facilities include: 3G football pitch, classrooms, dance studios, devon hall, dining hall, drama studio, faraday theatre, grass football pitch, gym, IT suite, library, MUGA, music practice room, sports hall, vocational kitchen, winter garden.
Our lettings are open 7 days a week with closures only during bank holidays and extended opening hours during school holidays. There is ample parking available onsite and our friendly staff are always available to help.
